Looks like a perfect solution to me. Fuel gauge quit on my mom's car and that's what she does. If she did more driving than she does and the car wasn't as old as it is I would fix it for her but she normally only goes to town once or twice a week and to church so she doesn't do much driving. And at 90 years old I'm not sure how much longer she will be driving anyway.
