There is no comparison. Db planters float, 1770s sink, you can drive by a field and tell the difference. Tracks don’t show up on the end like a 1770 nor thru the field. There have been a lot of people in our area that traded from 1770s to db’s but very few that ever traded back. Road transport width is not a real issue here nor are contours so it is different if you have those problems. 1770nt is a very good planter but I think in our area the db is better. We have had both.
