That may help for this year, but doesn't that slow the breakdown, creating more residue for the 2020 planting season (kicking the can down the road)? Maybe not an issue in corn soybean rotation, but corn stalk build up is a problem for me in multiple years of continuous corn. Edit: I see the OP is talking corn soybean rotation.


by fall last years corn residue is gone here. this years corn crop gives the next level of residue!! cant build residue on soil that is so hungry!!
