Cen Ks | A local mechanic tells me Deere has a repair kit for rebuilding 30 series frame rails with slopped out bolt holes. On line references suggest simply getting new aftermarket frame rails. They seem to be a common stock item. Any comments? I found some references about drilling out bolt holes and rethreading to larger size, is that necessary if existing threads are good? Any simple way to build up a worn hole in frame rail and rebore hole for tapered bolt head? Thanks | |
