| Don, you're right about it being only guesses - especially when we get these times with meridional flows - rather than the more "normal" zonal flows. Spring is a transition period. Usually, summer brings a more stable pattern, and where the highs and low set up determine who gets cool/wet and who gets warm/dry. IMHO, there seems to be a roughly twenty year period to these more meridional flows, and extremes are much more common compared to the more normal zonal flows. | |
