Thinking about spiked closing wheels (Yetter Twister, Furrow Cruisers, Etc). 98% conventional till. Wetter planting conditions got me thinking there might be some advantages to decrease compaction. What are your thoughts? Becks studies are getting me convinced. 2-4bu/ac advantage on 2,000 acres wouldn't take much to get a return.
