What really matters what price is doing “today”. If your selling physical on daily price action you really don’t have much of a risk management system.
Genuinely asking to learn here but by “selling physical on daily price action” do you mean selling for harvest delivery at a set strike point? For example $4.12 dec corn had been a target of mine for a while, when it hit today I sold 10% of production.... I could be a fool... but this year I’m trying to stick to some set marketing guidelines for myself. What “risk management system” would you recommend if this is what you mean? Buy options? Tia |
