NEMO | A few years ago I replanted a field on June 1 and it was my best field that year. All depends on the weather going forward. If a person was patient and able to actually plant in good conditions in the first half of June I would bet on that corn over the yellow stunted water logged poor stand corn planted this year in April.
I felt better about the corn we planted last week (versus the earlier April corn) while we were planting it, today not so much. 3-4 inches since Saturday morning.
Big fear now is if we mud in a crop then the water shuts off. Poor Missouri clay needs rain. | |
