Subject: RE: Snapbean canning time again

East Central Arkansas

Had big plans for making a garden this year and all those high price seed purchased. With all the wet weather have been behind on getting the farm crop in and being so wet haven't been able to get much done in the garden. I did get my case of onions planted [30 bunches].  We finally got our soybean crop planted and up. I finished getting the garden worked up again and bedded. That clay where the garden is clods real bad when worked so I need a rain on it now to help melt those brick bats I made when I bedded it up. I did plant a row of okra and squash but don't know if I will get it up or not. Maybe if I get a just right rain. I really want to get cantaloupes and watermelon planted.
