JonSKS is nobody’s dumbass, and I get what he’s saying loud and clear. To let millions of acres sit idle when those acres could raise 60 percent of a full crop is not smart food policy. And the insurance mechanism is completely bass ackwards in a situation such as this. I don’t think anybody needs to worry too much, you’re gonna get a terrific price. But naysayers need to really avoid being short sighted here, and look at the big picture.
