West Central IA | It's gonna be alright, don't panic. When we get through the 6 weeks of this crap we will probably be just as dry as we are wet. Seen it before. '83 comes to mind, late snow corn planting took 3 weeks and then end of June rain stopped. 100 bu corn worth 3.25 off combine and it was 2.25 to 2.50 before the dry set in. And of course all the crop so far was planted in ideal conditions so rooting will not be an issue. And if you are too worked up and can't see this is dripping with sarcasm good luck. | |
