| Hate to get too bullish with a case of backyarditis but locally most alfalfa fields are ruined, nearly zero corn planted in an area of a large percentage being fed to livestock, and it appears to be the case in large portions of the milk-producing areas of the midwest. I truly think the forage situation will come to bite us midsummer, about the same time processors realized they reacted a little too slowly to the marketplace. IMO starting to scale up sales in the mid to upper 17s may not be a bad idea. | |
