Subject: Any Trimble OnSwath Experts?

South Georgia
I need to attempt to improve the line acquisition performance of my Deere 4630 SP sprayer steered by a Trimble FmX. I currently have the line acquisition mode set to “classic”. I am interested in changing it to “OnSwath” as the tidbits of info I can find seem to indicate that OnSwath was developed to improve line acquisition. (Note, this is OnSwath, not to be confused with NextSwath, which is an automated turning system) There isn’t really anything about it in the manual. Any OnSwath experts out there?

The issue I am attempting to correct is the turn “into” the line. It steers “towards” the line just fine; however, as it approaches the line it just keeps going and goes past the line before attempting to steer into the line. I want it to turn into the line as it approaches the line, not after it has driven past it.

TIA
