Yeah, but what about corn 555?  Other than betting on the come, what possible reason is there for me to think there's an incentive to plant late corn when it's more than 50 cents a bushel less than the spring insurance price after I put it on a truck and deliver it?  (And my basis is better than some of the really wet areas for sure.)

Offer me 50 cents a bushel cash above the spring price, and I've got an entirely different motive to plant corn 5-10 days later and take some more risk.
