We've got up to about 2" with 2 to 4" more on the way.. this will put us out till June if realized.
We got about 85% of the Corn in for the first time..
The last will be hard as it already was the wettest.. and now will take WEEKS to dry..
So far I haven't planted a SINGLE ACRE to Soybeans.. and am considering sending my seed back with the board's response on Friday.
Why plant Soybeans?
We would be better off taking Prevented Plantings on the Corn and go from there.. also we can flex to Sorghum on acres which do eventually dry out.
China is starting to take Sorghum again.. it's the one grain who's ending stocks actually tightened in the last WASDE.
