Subject: Grain terminal unable to take grain?

SW WI
Just some thoughts going thru my mind on a rainy weekend. Unprecedented length of Miss river flooding has left barge traffic at a standstill on the upper Miss. In my local area the river terminal has filled 8 barges, that was all that got thru early and has taken in no more grain after that. What happens to contracted grain...if this would continue all summer? I know, I know....slow down Mikado, that would be historical disaster proportions. Yes.....but what happens to contracted grain (from a farmers standpoint). I’m not alone, but have Apr contracts that the terminal wouldn’t take. Long way to harvest but I’m assuming I’ll need SOME of that storage space for new crop. Does the contract have a “length” of duration, then being null and void?

I’m assuming first thing is read all the fine print....yes I’ll do that. And then secondly call someone at the terminal, yes, probably Mon. But just wondering if anyone here had ideas about how this would be handled.
