You would be able to re-install from a downloaded copy of Windows 7, using your existing key if it's legible. A repair install from USB drive might work then you wouldn't upset what's on it. You might need to access bios there's a video here might help https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lPCKGkjeWzs
