NE KS | Buddy of mine had an early nineties Jimmy. He'd always tell people he just finished making the payments, but took out a new loan for the tires or a fill-up. Truck bed looked a little better, but the cab let air thru the floor and firewall. A can of spray foam insulation couldn't stop the air in the winter. He always said he'd buy me a mouth guard so he didn't have to listen to my teeth chatter. It made a little past 260K miles. Anyways it let him down about 30-35 miles from home and that was the end of it. Should've seen his wife's face when I told him new plugs and wires is all it needs. She replied, "Good, YOU can buy it from the salvage yard and have it running in no time". | |
