North Central Illinois | It's a Howard. I think it's a 500S-305S. 10' working width.
At ~3" it's all the AC 7020 wants at 3 mph in orchardgrass/alfalfa sod. I was running same depth and 4 mph in the CC mix in bean stubble. Basically the same acres/hr and fuel use as a moldboard plow, but able to run much shallower. It looks like once over with a field cultivator and harrow should have it fit to plant unless it rains so much that I just transplanted everything. Might take twice with the FC if that happens. | |
