Subject: RE: Help on New Case IH TM255 Field Cultivator

Tuscola, IL
From what I can tell in parts, they show a 4”x30” cylinder and a 3.5”x30” cylinder. Problem is, the parts lookup doesn’t give a location or total machine quantity. My thoughts would be the 4” would be for the inner wing and the 3.5” would be for the outer wing. I would think diameter should match front to rear. Sure seems like it would be hard to bend one unfolding though, even with them being different diameter. When folding, the larger cylinder should be doing all of the work with the smaller just along for the ride kinda. Although, the more I think about it, the smaller would be trying to move faster and actually pushing against the larger.

Edit to add: after looking at the picture again, are they different lengths or different diameter?
