Always a problem in older tractors that don't "talk" to 2600
Go to main menu, Display, there is a button that toggles from day to night
Hit it and screen will dim to allow you to not be blinded working after dark
The default position is daytime so when you restart it goes to a bright screen
I do this nearly everyday
Does the JD 2600 screen have an off switch?
