No, there is no switch on the 2600. There is a "standby" switch on the 2630 screen, that turns the screen off/black, until you touch the screen again. When we had the 2600 screens, I "wired in" a on/off toggle switch in the wiring harness, just for the purpose you are talking about. I forget which color wire it is that I cut and installed the switch. If you want, I can look tomorrow and let you know. Although it is not hard to find. Unplug screen, and then see which wire is hot with key, Do you have your screen set for "in sync with cab lighting"? This will dim the screen at night when lights are on, but it is still annoying when going down the road.
