| Back in late 80's we planted with a 12 row JD 7000 rigid pull type behind a JD 4010. That old 4010 was one of the best investments Dad ever make. He paid $4K for it on an auction. We pulled the doors off the cab so it didn't raddle so bad. We didn't stick hardly any money into it other than oil changes, filters and fuel. The turbo finally went out, and we were not using it hard any more, so we pulled the turbo off. When we finally sold it, the clutch was going out, so we pulled the cab off, put in on the local consignment auction and said exactly what was wrong with it and it brought $3800. | |
