Subject: One week down and 7 weeks to go

S.C. Wisconsin
It's been one week since my surgery and so far everything seems to be going right and very little pain. The problems is that ankle has to be non-weight bearing for at least another 6-7 weeks. Right now it's just get around the house with my knee scooter. Since our house is handicap accessible I can get out to our vehicles, but can't drive. I have been spending a lot of time now on YouTube on different history stories along with some other things that I am interested in. I got hooked on the Reel McCoy series of videos where this fellow from North Carolina has a sawmill and they saw lumber with his wife and helper he calls his convict. The guy is a good story teller with his southern drawl. I like it because it's real life stories, and not some made up drama. The fellow is battling cancer and he talks about this while he is sawing lumber.
