I’m seeing a lot of variation between services for my area. Wonder if this one is hard to predict as far as totals.
If you look a little deeper at the analysis, and things like the collision of moisture flows from both the Gulf and the Pacific, the setup exists for a lot more severe weather than the last few relatively benign rain systems that have passed through. Probably a lot harder to make broad precip forecasts when you’ll have areas of torrential rain under supercell storms and 50 miles away hardly getting anything. |
