While that amount of white is unusual, there are genetic lines that carry it. The dam of Select Sire's Topeka and Texas had a significant piebald color pattern. After quite a bit of breeding with Topeka, I unfortunately never got any piebald calves out of the deal. A neighbor lady was using those bulls as well, in part because she wanted piebald. She didn't get any either. | |
