Jewell County KS | Changed hyd filters on my MF 3650 and found some chunks of brass in the righthand filter and finer stuff in the lefthand side. The picture with the 2 rags is left and right filter. The big pieces are about 1/4 " thick and probably goes around a 1-1.5" shaft or something. One piece appears to have a machined flat on it. Tractor is hard to shift with both the shuttle shift and 1-2-3-4 lever also.
Has anyone been into one of these and recognize where the brass
may be from ? I haven't looked in the partsbook yet but plan to. I may also pull the shift fork plate out of the right side of trans and see if I see anything there.
