India slapped a total of a 120% Duty on Pecans and Walnuts this past year and being one of the largest buyers of those crops the average grower price dropped from a little over $2.00 to about $0.60 in a few months. As written above no clout, so Arc, plc or MFP.
At the same time apples were hit with a 75% duty. Many other tree fruit crops were also hit with a similar duty last year.
How are our trade relations with India?
