NW Ohio
I know right ?........ but our school went with the scoring system a while back too.
I think 2 yrs ago, we had a situation where 11 or 12 of the graduating class had a straight 4.0 grade point average, then more points are achieved by the technical or how much harder the classes were, like college credit classes, and activities the student was involved in, etc. I'm sure there are teachers and faculty from other schools on here that can explain in better detail.
This would have been out of a graduating class of 40.

Its interesting how things come down to the wire...

My daughters class ( Junior next year ) is sizing up that way now, with about 7 for sure in the 4.0 GPA... its crazy on how the competition is....I'm glad I graduated years ago..I would not have a chance anymore, lol.
We are very happy and blessed with our school, have a great faculty and school board, we are a very small school but have been getting a lot of good awards and recognition from the state.
