Badger is correct. WL is about the only company that I deal with that offers alfalfa seed with 34% coated at $7.75 lb vs there same variety with only 8% coating that is .80 cents a lb more..... doesn't take a bean counter to figure out what one to plant. We took off a crop of winter rye two weeks ago then ripped, disked twice then put the lazor scrapper in to make sure it would flood irrigate right then went over the field with a flat harrow.  The only time I cultipack after planting alfalfa is when I have the plane fly the seed on but he was too busy cause of all the bugs we are getting so I planted it the old fashion way this time.
