I would use solid if it’s going through somebody else’s property. You never know if somebody someday will let it grow up wild with trees and they will plug the tile. As long as you backfill it properly if it’s only 2 to 4 feet deep there won’t be any concern with it being wet at the bottom of the trench and collapsing the tile. We had 300 feet of 12” tile replaced that was 10 feet deep. Neighbors tree roots had plugged it. Contractor wanted to use slotted tile because of how deep it was.
