I can't understand why growers leave these depressions in their fields yield after yield. Tile is design for subsurface drainage not for these type of depressions. Any standing water costs a fortune in delayed planting time, spraying and harvest and yield. Even a 2 inch deep depression can cost a lot.

Why dont you smooth out the field and with something like optisurface. We have been using it with great results. It typically cost only couple hundred dollars per acre to fix fields dramatically. I think they give free demo designs too.
