I got a feeling the gov is going to try to entice us with some mfp $$ for this fall To me that wud make trying to get some beans in by July 1 thinkable. Back in 2010 we had a major hail storm come thru and took started tassel corn down to 2 inch nubbins and beans where shot on Father's Day. Finally could plant some beans on July 10 and they made 28 but we had a late fall I was lucky cause of both fed crop in and hail ins plus we got a disaster chk from gov also. Best yr I ever had farming in my life

It wasn't you best year farming, it was your best year collecting income from insurance checks and welfare money.

Do you use crop insurance? Any MFP money last year?
