A neighbour of ours just made a deal with a large diary farm for 22cent a lb in the windrow, yes 22cents a lb in the windrow , I think that is nuts but if they are foolish enough to pay that good for him. Diary farmers are strange birds, they grow this straight alfa and call it rocket fuel and because its too strong they cut it down with good clean straw, with the prices they are paying you would think they would add some grass to their hay mix. things might change here in Ontario once they start farming like the rest of us as they get weaned of supply management and its socialist ways!
