| We are farming in Ontario and straw is hard to find. In the winter of 2017/2018 we could always get straw delivered for 6.5 ct/lbs. This is the first year that prices are higher. We would be interested to get straw from Manitoba to Ontario. The biggest problem with this is that we dont know what we are getting, how dry it has been baled, if it has been stored inside etc. Long story short we dont know the quality.
Many farmers would be interested in straw from Manitoba as long as quality would be garanteed.
Question. If straw would be trucked from Manitoba to Ontario (London/Chatham/Windsor/Sarnia) would they drive through the states or take highway 17?
