Buhl, ID | I think you would be surprised. Mega dairies as you call them tend to have more debt than smaller ones. Feed cost is about half the cost of production and goes up proportionately with size, labor also goes up proportionately. Theres an old saying if you owe the bank $10 you cant pay you have a problem but if you owe $1,000,000 you cant pay then the bank has a problem.
