Central North Dakota
yes bean you are so correct i couldn't have said it any better. I was raised on a commercial cattle ranch/ registered quarter horse ranch and broke my first horse at 12. I worked in town for 15 years before (while still breaking horses at a local riding stable) i was able to come back home. I couldn't be happier being back. My son is 9 and there is a Three year old in the yard that he has his eye on. He busts his hind end with the cattle and said he wants a crack at the horses....Who am I to hinder his ambitions. I told him if he finishes strong in this last week of school and stays up on his chores. WE will definitly get that colt going this summer.
