| Has anybody ever thought about taking a dry fertilizer box from a planter and using it as a seeder to seed pastures and hay fields with? I need an economical way to get a good stand on new hayfields and to resow portions of pastures. I have been looking at air seeders to mount on a harrow, but they are all out my price range for the amount of use they would get.
I thought it might be possible to use a dry box as some type of drop seeder or possibly some type of other metering system to mount on a harrow.
Anybody have any ideas on this idea? | |
