Missouri

Not unusual. I actually prefer the PG 6-day cidr protocol when Ai'ing.

The timing of removal, to the hour, is what's normally the most important part when using fresh transfers and scheduling cows. It is what affects the bell curve of response and thus implant timing and can cause a problem with "normal business hours" if not done on time. Even when the lab gives out a 7 day protocol, it's often actually a 6.5 day because of the way many clients tend to work cows. They often bold the "as early as possible" text on the schedule sheet for that very reason.

Edit to add: There's even people who feel the 5 day cidr programs are mandatory when AI'ing southern cattle with a little ear.
