Missouri | It will happen automatically, in the programming of the new configuration. While configuring the implement, it will ask you how many rows, how many sections, and then how many rows on each section. For a 31 row 3600 splitting on the factory point row clutches, you will tell it 16 rows on sectio 1 and 15 rows on section 2 (front, center row is on the left section).
Unless your fields are long flat rectangles and planted in straight lines, I would expect equal or greater seed savings from 16 (of 31) row clutches than from automated half section clutching.
An additional point, consider for the moment, you have the ability to use both clutching systems. You can let the Incommand drive the row clutches on the rear rows, and you can still manually throw out the point row clutches when half the planter is overlapping.
