Thanks a lot I got the tractor figured out finally... Didnt know you need to feed in 12 v back in the plug to get the computer to recognize that there was a signal.... But I think with the planter should be fairly simple with directions you gave me there.... Thanks again


The feedback on Pin 4 is used with some devices. When I made adapter cables I always included it because it does not hurt if it is there and is not needed. If the planter monitor or other device has a four pins then it may be needed. If he planter monitor or other device only has 3 then the feedback pin would not be needed but wouldn't hurt anything if present.

As mentioned earlier, certain older Early Riser and Deere planter monitors used this scheme. I think the scheme was also used on certain "red" tractors.
