MT-ND | Verizon technically has to let all companies bounce off their towers in ND, but it was never stated at what priority, so if you're not Verizon and there is more traffic than the tower can handle, the Verizon traffic is getting first priority. Found that out the hard way.
If you're really worried about coverage, go to iridium, especially if you don't want people talking to you much(costs about as much as old long distance)
Kyocera makes a good Android phone. No screen protector needed, water proof (as long as you shut the doors), no case needed and I ran over the last one with an L3 and it survived. Survived meaning that I could call/text but browsing or anything else it would restart.
I have a Samsung note 8 now. The pen is nice. Never really been a fan of apple. If you're looking at them (apple) look up Louis Rossman on YouTube, he repairs a lot of iPhones and such and can quickly tell you why they aren't that great from a hardware point.
