I just set a small dish of grape jelly on my platform feeder. If feeding orioles is new for you, I'd definitely buy some oranges and cut one in half and set it on something up high. They really seem to be attracted to the oranges.
Thanks, I'll try that. As far as I know, I've never seen orioles in this area, but that doesn't mean they're never here.
I was just looking at this map and it appears I'm in their migration route. Migrations routes have changed drastically in north central Tx over the last 20 years or so we gradually see new species and lose others.
