Neither one is really better than the other when it comes to GPS accuracy, and they'll both probably run the SmartSteer about the same. If you wanted to improve accuracy, you could use a different GPS receiver able to use a subscription service like TerraStar or OmniStar to import GPS into the system. That would get you a more repeatable GPS signal and could potentially get you to the type of accuracy you're after.
