NC Iowa | i have 2 cruizers, and 2 cruizer lls. the cruizers are connected to a smart steer device on the steering wheel. i use one for tillage on a white 170, and i am satisfied with the accuracy for that. once in a while it will get off, and i just recalibrate the a-b to get back on.
the other cruizer is on my planter - sprayer tractor, a white 2-110. i use the auto steer for spraying open fields without rows. i am satisfied with accuracy, but boom shutoffs and ability to 'paint' individual boom sections would be nice.
when planting, the accuracy is not good enough to plant with consistently. i use it on occasion when using a compass heading, but it can be off enough not to rely on it long term.
would my cruizer ll's have the ability to do the steering better and have more sprayer features? i currently just use them for guidance with no steering. i could switch them if there was some reason to.
is a better steering device needed for planting?

can i, or should i try to do more with a cruzer II?
