Makes a guy want to take a harness making class so he can feel confident trimming these cables down to size.
It seems like the solution, until you try it. I have probably about $2000 worth of crimping tools, pins, sockets, terminals, etc. I have the ability to shorten cables where necessary. I still don't have enough stuff for every possible connector.
With a little creativity, a **** ton of zip ties, and elbow grease, cables can be made to look neat.
I have done some experimentation connecting ag leader implements via the IBBC, and it works. This means, theoretically, it is experimentally possible to use a greenstar cab post connector if one built the right adapter harness. Experimental as all get-out, and surely unsupported AF by all mfrs involved, but possible. |
