Between Omaha and Des Moines, 7 miles South of I80 | That "printout" came from another NAT member and I think it came from JD. (I just saved a copy, to my computer) I use minimize skips, for both planting and spraying; but I only am using the free WAAS signal. This is with an 8 row wide corn planter (38"), with 6 section row control {note: rows 1 and 2 tied together and same with rows 7,8} Then with soybeans, it is 15 row (19" rows) and still 6 section row control, so this is even more important to minimize skips, or I would have bigger "open areas", in my triangular fields, coming into endrows at an angle. Spraying, I'm using 9 section control, with only a 65 foot boom. {Note: I have to "Turn OFF" autoswath, for any "first pass" on outer edge of fields, and around terraces and waterways (due to WAAS drift), but after that I can turn it ON, and works good for me, in my local area.} |
