Watertown, WI | Have an Intuicom -M CDMA going offline this year. I'm looking at alternatives. T-Mobile still supports 3G by us, but I'm not having much luck sourcing an Intuicom GSM. The price of a new Intuicom -X LTE is insane for what I need, my jaw hit the ground. Not really interested in using a cell phone since US Cellular loses data when a call comes through.
What other options are there?
I see DigiFarm hacked the firmware on a Sierra Wireless RV50. Has anyone used one of those? Side note: If anyone on NAT wants to try and make an open NTRIP app to run on a standard modem (like an RV50), I'd be down with that.
Does anyone know of a basic Ethernet to NTRIP converter? I can get an LTE Ethernet modem for $5 a month.
What are other people using out due to the 3G shutdown epidemic?
Thanks,
Aaron
