Hydraulic drive planters can be shutoff in groups with the hydraulic drive motors, 12 row has two so groups of 6, can add clutches easily if more than that is desired. Used air clutches are cheap.

You could buy a planter with Pro 700 and feed it GPS from your deere receiver.

I have a 1250 that was ground drive with manual fold box, comes with electric 1/2 width clutches from factory. I converted mine to hydraulic drive with air clutches and am running it with a trimble 2050 and field iq.
