Tuscola, IL | What does ‘it needed one CAN bus on the side fender controls’ mean?
There’s not a good way to tell externally on an accuguide system if the NAV is powered on. Connecting to it with a laptop would show whether the NAV was powering up or not.
Does the display have medium tractor software installed?
Is this a NAV 2 or NAV 3?
What version of software does the NAV have in it?
What version of software does the Pro 700 have in it?
Is the steering system set to ‘AFS Accuguide’ in the NAV-S tab?
When you look under diagnostic>CAN, does the NAV show up there?
They are basically plug and play but there are several settings the operator can change/modify that prevents it from working. Also, mixing and matching different parts of the system at different levels of software is a surefire way to run into issues.
My best guess is the display is on version 30 or earlier and the NAV has surpassed the display in software. Typically, when you change the steering from none to AFS Accuguide in the NAV-S tab, you get a warning message saying to update NAV software to X.XX. I have been in two machines recently that did not give me the warning.
